To publish the book, Sara founded Pepem Press, named for the Mayan word for butterfly—a fitting symbol of transformation with a connection to her sons’ ancestry. I designed the Pepem Press logo to bring those ideas together, creating an identity that reflects both the name's personal roots and the transformation at the heart of the book.
