The ghosts of packaging’s past.

My career began in package design, which remains one of my favorite projects. I enjoy the 3D, tactile, and experiential nature of this work.

Private Label Wine for Kroger - Featuring illustrated petroglyphs from the regions of the grape origin.

Private Label Beer for Safeway, three styles differentiated by color and illustrated fly fishing themes.

Private Label Beer for Fred Meyer - Four styles of beer distinguished by color and American fire marks, also known as “badges” and “house plates,”.
These were signs issued by insurance companies that were affixed to the front of a property to mark that the property was insured for fire.  Used from 1752 to circa 1900.

G & G Specialty Foods - Maker of cheese spreads, hummus dips, salsa, tapenade, and bruschetta. They are distributed across the U.S. to grocery stores, club stores, specialty retailers, and restaurants.

Harry’s Fresh Foods - Small batch, kettle-cooked fresh soups, sauces, entrées, sides, and desserts distributed across North America to a wide customer base, including grocery, club, and convenience retailers and the food service channel.
