Kinder’s

Barbecue, the California way.

Kinder’s Barbecue is a three-generational meat market, deli and catering company operating out of California. Another arm of the company was born when additional products were developed for retail. Giving their traditional packaging, which was all black a facelift, an architecture that spanned across all product lines to go to market was produced.

The idea was to keep the packaging light and white, which is the opposite of what we see on shelves traditionally. I worked with a local studio and art directed the product shots and applying the new look and feel to dozens of lines of product. From sauces, to rubs, frozen, brats and the fresh, “carver” line of meats. It’s A LOT OF MEAT.

“A Beautiful Mess.”
